OnePlus Open Foldable: Promising Superb Performance and Design

OnePlus is preparing to release its upcoming foldable smartphone, rumored to be named OnePlus Open, in the near future.

The company initially showcased the phone as a teaser during the Cloud 11 launch event held in February earlier this year.

Leaked design renders indicate that the device may come in black, gold, and green color variants.

Several reports have also surfaced, sharing the alleged specifications of this book-style foldable smartphone from the Shenzhen-based mobile manufacturer.

Furthermore, a recent report suggests a potential launch date for the foldable device.

Since the model has previously been associated with various names without any official confirmation, a tipster provides insights into the most likely name as well.

According to recent rumors, the highly anticipated OnePlus Open Foldable smartphone is expected to be launched on October 19th.

This device, widely acclaimed for its exceptional performance and design, has generated immense excitement among tech enthusiasts.

The OnePlus Open is expected to feature two AMOLED displays with high refresh rates of 120Hz.

One on the inside and another on the exterior side, both equipped with 7.8-inch 2K AMOLED displays for an optimal viewing experience.

Powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC for impressive performance. Additionally, it will boast 16GB of RAM and 256GB of built-in storage to conveniently store files and applications.

In the camera department, the phone is expected to come with a 50-megapixel sensor with optical image stabilization (OIS).

A 48-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide lens, and a 32-megapixel sensor with a periscope lens placed on the rear panel.

It is also tipped to feature two 32-megapixel front camera sensors.

Leaked renders of the phone have shown a lychee-like leather finish with a large circular center-aligned camera module. The Hasselblad-branded cameras are expected to have a periscope lens claimed to offer better-quality zoomed-in images with less noise and less loss. The OnePlus Open has been tipped to be offered in black, gold, and green color ways.
